Working in the OST field is rewarding, challenging and really, really busy. With a focus on our youth, we often neglect our staffs, causing a disastrous 40% annual turnover rate. To improve program quality, we must improve our high-quality staff retention. This session will challenge and encourage OST leadership to do just that.
In this session, participants will assess current practices in staff supervision. They will then learn best practices and develop ways to begin implementing more effective leadership to improve staff retention and program quality.
